Well it really does depend on you and your partner. I honestly like when my man trims that area, not shaven it's like a scratchy beard when you do that (in my opinion).
Why do they do this? Well some people do say it looks bigger when you shave or trim. This could be a reason if they are insecure. However most men do this for the same reason women do, so that the area is tidy and neat. I like when my man trims because it's better for oral sex. Who wants a mouth full of hair?

i think they should. but i don't know. i've met a lot of guys with different opinions on it. like one guy i know just thinks it should be wild down there. but this other guy told me he shaves his because he thinks it should be well kept down there. so i don't know what's going on.
it'll look bigger!! kiddinggggggg.

They Should if its what they want to do and if their comfortable with it, i personally think that if they feel more comfortable that way than so be it.
