This appears on my mp3 player when i switch it on...and will not let me listen to any songs or even look at songs. Anyone know what i can do ??

MP3 player is a Packard bell Audiokey fm 256mb

I have had it for 1 year and this has never happend before

it sounds like it has become corrupted probably by being close to something highly electro-magnetic like a tv or speaker for a long time. plug it into your pc and see if you can extract the music files off it, even if you cant it looks like you gonna have to format it and lose the songs if you cant extract them.

connect it to pc... find it in 'my computer' open it up, click on view/select all and move the songs to your pc, right click the player icon, select format/FAT, ignore 'Quick format' , then virus scan all your songs, and move them back onto player.. g/luck and merry xmas
