I have access to my neighbour's internet connection. With his permission of course, I am allowed to use his connection wirelessly for my notebook. And I have a computer at home with a ADSL connection.

I would like to know if I'm able to join the connection together and possibly increase the internet speed further. Could anyone provide me with more information regarding this?

it is not possible. All ports are controlled by single processor. If you want to increase the speed, use server computer, not ordinary PC with more RAM. it will improve the speed 4 times faster. NOW a days servers are available slightly costlier than branded PC.

an section section community isn't an information superhighway connection in itself. until eventually you're subscribing to 2 diverse broadband expenses you basically have one connection. even once you've 2 there is not any thanks to combine then, the gadget will use whichever it needs to on the time. attempting to apply 2 would sluggish it down, because it may waste time determining which connection to apply for each packet it sends.

What you would like to do is called binding .... it would be cheaper to upgrade the DSL subscription to a higher speed.

No, not with equipment that you could afford. That's enterprise-grade technology, not SOHO.
