would anybody explanation of the following stanza from the poem " The Donkey"?

and ears like errant wings,
the devil,s walking parody
on all four footed things

He's talking about how the donkey's cry, huge ears, etc. are all devilish, but in a kind of funny way a "parody" of the devil. Obviously, this person has something against donkeys.
