Stregth: can eat ANYTHING. can spin around in a whirlwind and eat anything. Is immortal and cannot die because he is a toon. Only trickery can defeat him.
Weakness: Weakness for women, even if it is bugs bunny in disguise. Music soothes him. paternal instinct, eats anything.

My vote is on taz here is why:
Wolverine might be the best there is at what he does, and that is fighting, taz is in another class altogether, he won't fight, just devour wolverine, adimantium and all. wolverine's claws can only hurt taz as taz is a cartoon and will just feel pain, not be seriously injured. Wolverine will straight out attack like he always does, this will put him in direct line to be devoured by taz. The only question remaining would be whether or not wolverine's skeleton would be devoured by taz after his digestive acids melted away wolverine's flesh, or would taz have sever indigestion and have a really bad time in the bathroom leading to an amusing and silly conclusion to the show. My vote would be for the bathroom problems because it would be funnier, and taz bieng a toon, would be the subject of the funnier option.

Taz will rip out Wolvie’s gut and eat them while Logan watches helplessly, unable to stop him. Then, as Taz digests the DNA, he too will gain the power of regeneration! As you (correctly) point out, Wolverine can hurt Taz, but not kill him. I suspect that Taz may have greater speed and faster reflexes than Wolverine, but that is just my feeling, not a certainty. Now, if Taz were to fight the Blob instead, for example….

Taz wins this one easy. He twirls away looking for something else to fill his insatiable appetite. (picking up where you left off, after Wolverine is fully digested...)
It's a good day for the Tazmanian Devil because the rest of the x-men are nearby. He puts on his bib and picks up his knife and fork -- he wants to enjoy this feast. He's done this on occasion but this meal is extra-special.
The Marvel Universe is tasty... He devours the rest of Westchester and heads to New York. A panicked Dr. Strange is alerted to the Taz's arrival and begins conjuring the mystical forces at his disposal. Silver Surfer hears of the disaster and promises to dispatch of this devil post haste.
mmm.. Silver Surfer Tasty... Taz likes cosmic power... he burps...
Dr. Strange has only moments to act before the rest of NY becomes one giant buffet table.
He manages to send the Tazmanian Devil back to The Looney Tunes Universe after a long fought battle for there is only one hero that can lead a final assualt on Taz... Bugs Bunny.
Working with the Road Runner, Marvin the Martian, Pepe Le Pew and Porky Pig - he forms their own "x" team to finally end this threat.
Porkey Pig, sadly and obviously... is the first to go..

However, Tech E. Coyote has the same healing power as Wolverine, while Slam Tazmanian is in the same role as Wolverine.

You forget another characteristic of the Wolverine. When faced with a west coast style offense, it becomes a lumbering, stumbling, bumbling creature.
