Ohio State went 12-0. Florida went 12-1 against a much tougher schedule. Looks like to me Florida has a "chance" to beat Ohio State. If South Florida can beat WVU, UCLA can be USC, and Cincinatti can beat Rutgers, how is it that Florida doesn't "have a chance"? Florida is a good team, and their schedule was much tougher than what Ohio State had to endure.

That being said, my money is still on Ohio State, but I wouldn't be even slightly shocked to see Florida fly home national champs this year.

If we're talking about football, it is because Florida WILL beat the Nut-eyes. ESPN has hyped OSU and Troy Smith so much this season that most people think they are some kind of unbeatable machine. OSU has played exactly one good team, that being Michigan, and gave up 400+ yards to them, so I don't want to hear another dam* word about their defense. Don't tell me about Texas either, they had a freshman QB starting his first big game and a secondary that basically consists of one guy. Other than the UM game, if they did not go undefeated, they should have been demoted to Div. II or something. Percy Harvin is going to make OSU's defense look like the Colt's defense against the Jaguars and Florida's D will show T Smith and Co. what a real defense plays like. Remember these words Jan. 9th when you're thinking about what might have been.

The Ohio State University offense is a scoring machine. They have the most weapons of any team in any conference this year, they just never have had to use them all due to great play by their defense. Florida can say whatever about any team they've played so far, but they have yet to go against a machine like team like the Buckeyes.

honestly, michigan would have had the best chance at beating ohio state. I do think they did the right thing in picking Florida for the championship game though. But if I wanted to see somebody actually having a chance at beating ohio state i would pick Michigan

my friend who goes to church with Troy told me that he is said to him in confidence that he is not going to go all out in the game because he doesn't want to risk injury and jeopordize his number one draft pick money.
