Tree Hugger's Good Loggers BAD! I Think That As Long As Companies That Use Lumber Have A Responsible Approach To Sustaining The Forests And Aren't Just Logging Wholesale With No Concern To The Future, It's Better Than Nothing. Ancient Forests And Trees That Can't Be Replaced In One Persons Lifetime Should Be Safeguarded Against Future Logging By Companies Like Kleenex (Kimberly Clarke)!

I have 10 acres in the foothills. We spent the summer clearing manzinita and brush out from around a lot of the pines, black oaks, cedars and madrones. I always loved these trees and watching them. Especially on windy days. I've watched the trees grow for 25 years. So yes, I love my trees. It may sound sappy (no pun intended), but they are part of my world.

There's an oak tree in a park near where I live that looks like a deer - it's branches are the antlers.
I'll try to add a photo.
Edit: Can't find a way of adding a photo I've taken myself. You'll have to use your imagination!

I love a mulberry tree. When I'm down I climb up and get myself nestled in its branches.
Its been my favorite tree since I was a child, and I've cared for it for years.
Its been going through some tough times. We're battling an aggressive parasitic vine, some of its limbs are dying and I cried when it lost a huge branch in the last ice storm.

My husband and I have planted about 20 trees in our garden (of various sizes and sorts). I love them all, as they represent the growth of our relationship. However, my favourite is a beautiful Himalayan cypress.

There are 2 Scotch Pines outside my mother's sweet little cottage that I love a lot, even though my mother had the tops of them trimmed off one time as she was frightened they would fall on the house. They now look like enormous green lavatory brushes, towering over my mum's very low-level house.

I love certain people in my family tree, my tree goes back as far as 1817, well that's as far as i have gone so far. It's surprising how many branches my tree has, they just keep spreading.

I personally do not prefer too close relations to material i see most suitable for building and warming the house, but when I was living in Korea, it seemed some of the local people shared your feelings. Somehow they just went too far :(
