Just like any other water bottle rocket, this is for A science project so please help, please?

You can modify it for the coke and mentos thing though. I have seen the coke and mentos experiment and that's pretty powerful. Having it under pressure would be quite interesting. Good Luck and be careful!!

actually, the reaction is not a chemical process, but rather a physical reaction. As the mentos sink to the bottom of the bottle, the bubbles form. I was also under the impression that Pepsi is not used, it is diet
coke

Take 1 full bottle of DIET COKE not pepsi.

Unscrew the top, add 3-5 mentos.

RUN, and watch as the foam cascades out.


Unfortunately, you cannot make a rocket out of this, as the thrust produced by the "rocket" is not greater than the weight of the "rocket".

Check out mythbusters, they tried it, didn't work.

You don't need a pump.
Use -- Diet-- and three Mentos.
But you have to make a spout very narrow.
