That wasn't kind and gentle natured?
Every Muslim I've ever met has been kind, gentle, generous and good-hearted.
I'm sure the bad ones are out there, but I think a lot of it is government sponsored hype.
Similar to how the Japanese were portrayed in WWII.
Have you ever met any of these "terrorists"?

thank you i love your undertsanding!!! I am a muslim who has lived in a muslim country my wholelife until recently and none of us are terrorist types, if you wanna find one, look in the caves. they are the losers we kinda shunned from society for adulterating our peaceful religion with untrue crap

Yes, You are correct, all of the muslims I have met are very gentle, far from the image they are being portrayed now-a-days.
I have also studied Islam in details and in reality this is a very peaceful religion, and contrary to present belief of the world, I don't think that anyone practicing Islam can harm any innocent person. I think we must study this peaceful religion & use our own brain before comming to any conclusion under the influence of our powerful media.

I met some in Dallas when I was going to University. I was just wandering around one weekend, and happened into a shoppe owned by Muslims. They gave me a free book entitled "Understanding Islam," and were, as you indicate, gentle folks.

no longer yet. I even have met a muslim who grew to alter into one in each and every of Jehovah's Witnesses and married a sister. he's a cool guy. we'd do prepare instructions with him and his relatives. Gave me a possibility in gaining knowledge of a thank you to share with muslims.

No i've never. I think is not Islam itself that is what is presented to be. Fundamentalism on anything it's dangerous and utterly idiotic. It blinds people of their surroundings and dehumanizes different people. That's why you see these ******* picketing funerals of soldiers, abortion clinics, or blowing themselves up in the name of their god. There are sensible people out there who acknowledge other people with different opinons and respect those opinions. The latter are true to their religion.

I have met a few people that were Muslims, they were very nice but be real here... if someone were a terrorist do you think they would tell you?

To my mind only one theory comes to mind... which is that these individuals were not taught. Have them learn and then u'll see the difference. But who will teach,... that my dear is the question...

The Muslims I have met were very quiet and non-offensive.
The more boisterous Middle-Easterners I have known were all Christians.

I agree completely, Figato. It is nothing but hype---people are people, and if you're kind to them, 99.9 percent they'll be kind to you. It's basic human nature.
