Thats nice of you to say. I know the whole world hates us, but I think its kind of sad for people like me whose dream is to travel the world. People treat normal human beings like crap as soon as they find out they are from the United States. Its hard to travel and be treated with respect when coming from the US. I try very hard to be respectful and honor those who live in places that are different from where I live, and I think most of the world is actually more beautiful.
Just because I happened to be born in the US doesnt mean I am as thick headed as everyone else seems to suppose.

I find it difficult to answer such a broad question. Like any other group, there are good eggs and bad eggs among the American people. As an Australian, watching my Prime Minister kiss up to George Bush, I don't much love the American govt. (or my own, obviously). On the other hand, the handful of American individuals I do know are pretty cool people, and I like them just fine.

I don't have an issue with individual Americans, but I'm not wild on America's 'we're the best, everyone else is jealous' arrogant attitude and I'm really not keen on their current government or foreign policy.

I have my Yahoo Answers settings on "All English Questions" rather than the option for my country only. It makes the questions and answers much more interesting.
