not sure. id have to say no becuase we have rossi and fangzhou coming back, larsson coming in and smith nearly fit. i think they should keep going the way they are and try bring in hargreaves as a defensive midfielder. he would complete a quite strong midfield as it is and maybe splash the cash and bring in a world class defender. vidic is doing very well and brown is good cover but neither are going to light up the stage for us. maybe even try and bring in a quality keeper too as van der saar is knockin on a bit and look how long and how much money it took us to replace

Defoe is a very gud player, he is very gud but i don't think he is able to cope with the pressure at team a team like Man Utd.
Im a big man utd fan but defoe won't be the best, they should keep on tryin to nail Torres, anyway right now we got some very gud strikers the likes of rooney, saha, Ole gun Solkjer, Smith. don't think we need any1 else of the same ability as defoe.

i dont know who JAMIE Defoe is but JERMAIN Defoe isnt for sale... he will be at spurs for the next couple of years at least.... Do you really think he would go in january when we are doing well in these cups this year.. And he stated the other day that he is dieing to have a winners medal in the carling cup for spurs....

If u mean jermaine defoe then no not good enough to play for united i think united should try and sign Klass jan Huntelaar of ajax he is a lethal striker.

defoe isnt as good as most people (Including McClaren) think. true he is fast and gets in good positions but many of his shots are of a poor qulaity. the only reason he has scored so many this season is summed up in one word... Berbatov. he is such a good player and puts so many great balls into Defoe he cant fail to score. also, players are so taken up with coping with Berbatov that Defoe isnt noticed. so he is a good player but not half as good as Berbatov. i cant believe he only cost £10.9m.
as for Man Utd, i doubt whether they would bother with Defoe. i like their policy of buying young English players but i dont think Defoe would get many games. They would be better going for Bent.
By the way, i am a Spurs fan in case it seems like i am a jealous fan rubbishing Defoe.

Nah - dont think he's good enough - they need to sign someone who's proper world class - someone like Adriano perhaps. Not too sure about this Huntelaar kid - only seen him play for Holland once vs England as a sub & he did nowt really - i think Torres might be a bit overrated too . . . . .

no..coz it wud cost a fortune...with defoes reputation(well..in england...)he will cost 15 mil at least..with that money u can get a striker better than him for sure. we hv rooney n saha now..larrson is the main backup...smith is nearly bk n so is Ole...n rossi is coming bk...we got 5 proper stikers already so i dont think we need to buy(can u name chelseas 5th striker??)
i dont think defoe wud b happy to b our 3rd or even 4th striker in line, which is now happening to him... he shud go to a team which needs him to play week in week out. im not saying he is not gd enuf to play for man u, its just that we dont need any more strikers.

they intend to sign england player.. defoe is good and spurs hav a good relationship wit man u.. yeah, its not impossible
