The leaning tower of Pisa is known for its tilt.

Constructed over 800 years ago, the eight-story bell tower foundation's pressure caused a section of soil on one side of the tower to settle. As a result, the building developed a 10 degree tilt that has displaced its top 17 feet from the vertical. An estimate of the pressure at the base is 72. lbs/in2. The area of the base is approximately 440000 in2. From this, estimate the tower's weight.

um... i think this will be better if it is addressed as a math problem since it is not a chem one, you will surely get more help from the math sector if they only knew. good luck

This is not a chemistry problem but it is a problem of applied physics. Logic would dictate to take the psi x area = wt

Then 72 psi x 4E5 in2 = 2.88E7 pounds or 29 million pounds using sig.figs.
