Why does a man always make a women feel less then them?

If it's not true, then why would you feel it?

Don't blame him for your feelings, you own them.

If what he says has an element of truth to it, it's not his stating that truth that is responsible for your feelings.

You've just been with the wrong guys. If I had a woman, I would put her on a pedestal and make her feel special. When a man and a woman are together, it's supposed to be a team effort. I know there are alot of guys that would be totally lost without their wives or girlfriends.

Men have these feelings that if they don't act a certain way or do certain things then they do not feel inept or in control.

It is an inbred thing it is in the Genes of men to want to be in control, to be the provider, and to fix all situations even if it is impossible.

It is harder for Men to give into women and let their guards down, they have come to find out in the past, that is the way to be knocked out of the lineage or be killed by showing weakness.

Men can change, but only if they so desire, it is difficult, maybe could be considered as painful as womens childbirth, but at an emotional/masculinity type way.

It's not all his fault we are taught things like "women are the weaker sex", "you must never hit a woman" or any other phrase that portrays women as anything but equals to men.

I was raised with no brothers and 4 sisters. I could never hit them, but I could ALWAYS defend myself. Anyone who thinks women are weaker are fools. Women are not only the equals to men, but are as dangerous if not more so than any man because of this blindness of calling them "the weaker sex".

Not all men are this way--you have realize that some men do this as a powerplay to keep conttrol over women--if this is what you are finding in the men you date--then you need to find a better man.

My husband does that, makes them feel big I guess. CONTROL! Maybe he has a fear of you leaving him so he wants to put that in your head. Don't wait too long to get help or talk to him about it. People will treat you the way YOU LET THEM treat you! If you put your foot down and show them they can't act or treat you the way they do, then they will stop. Not all men are the same. Maybe you are more attracted to men that belittle you.
