I have some scratches in my laminate counter top. Is there anything I can do to make them less noticable? And how can I make the counter top shinier?

Formica makes a product called "Seam Seal." It comes in tubes, like toothpaste travel size. Go to your local counter fabricator. They will have what you need. Call first, because many shops are getting away from laminates. The shine cannot be changed. Yo can polish what you have. I use "Countertop Magic." It is available at hardware stores.

I've heard the cleaner called Orange Glow works for this as well. You might want to give it a try. Can you possibly cover up some area with maybe a cutting board or maybe a few accesories over the bad areas?

use a mild solution of bleach on the counter top, and when it's dry, match the counter top with a color from the crayon box. it won't fill it in, but, is less noticeable...

H-DEPOT HAS COLORED FILLERS.... IF LOCALIZED IN ONE LOCATION, YOU COULD INSTALL ONE OF THOSE GLASS CUTTING BOARDS MOUNTED IN A METAL RING! MAYBE TWO!
