1. For shopaholics
- Ayala Center Cebu & SM City Cebu (large shopping malls)
- Tabo sa Banay in Colon St. (bargain finds, beware of pickpockets!)
- Ukay-Ukay area in the Carbon market (bring change!)
- XCD store in Cocomall (for used designer clothing at ridiculously low prices in good condition)

2. For foodies
- order mango shake (the best in the world!), available in most restaurants
- eat at native restaurants (Cafe Laguna, Golden Cowrie, Chika-an sa Cebu, Lighthouse)
- eat at Korean and Japanese restos (several of them in the city)
- for the best bbq, try Larshan (outdoor bbq area, soo inexpensive & mouthwateringly goood!) Note: best eaten w/ puso (hanging rice)

3. Beach luvahs
- try Costabella, Maribago Bluewater
- want high-class resorts? there's Shangri-La, Plantation Bay, Pulchra, Sumilon Island, etc.
- this isn't the beach, but Kawasan Falls in Badian is just lovely (natural waterfalls where you can swim, trek, & do a bunch of other stuff...they have cottages for rent if you want to stay the night)

4. Night owls
- go to Vudu at Crossroads or Formo at the Banilad Town Centre
- newly opened The Loft at the I.T. park is teeming w/ Cebu's party crowd too

5. Spa fever!

- mid-priced: Serenity Spa, Sawadee Spa
- luxury spa: Chi Spa at the Shangri-La

6. Culture Vulture
