no it doesn't necessarily mean that you are..you are hitting puberty though..but some girls develop these things way before they get their period..and some get their period before they get them..but what's the rush..trust me, you don't want your period..enjoy it as long as you can...

Periods usually first come about 2 years after your breasts start developing. Also, a good predictor is having vaginal discharge for around 6 months. I actually had it a year when I first got my period. It is definitely coming up since you have already developed pubic hair and armpit hair. I think you are getting pretty close. Good luck with your first period!

Everything you described is caused by 'female hormones,' so it sounds like you are very close. The actual time when females get their first menstruation depends on the amount of body fat they have. Their body has to have a certain % because if the woman is very thin, the body wouldn't be able to support a child. So, there is no point in the body being ready to make babies if the woman wouldn't have enough fat to sustain a fetus anyway. I remember when I had my first period, I had gained like 2 pounds. The next month, for two weeks I felt kind of sick and I was feeling really warm and was really angry at everyone and then I went to the bathroom and almost passed out when I realized what was going on.

menstruation is the last sign women get when they are developing...on average it happens about two years after breast start to develop (which is different than when you start wearing a bra) and one year after hair comes in. you also will probably get your first period around the same age as your mom, her sisters, or your sisters. talk to your mom and your doctor.
