You would need to adapt it to natural gas, because the heat content of natural gas is not as great as propane. The air/fuel mix would change and the pressure is different.
When something can be adapted, it usually takes a new orifice plate to meter the gas, and a different pressure regulator.

If the connections are good and it's properly ventilated I don't see why not....they make gas grills and outdoor heaters that can be hooked up to a natural gas source instead of lugging that propane tank around. Please proceed carefully though as you always have the potential for a dangerous situation when dealing with any kind of flammable/explosive gas.

I am not sure if any conversion kit available for that. Propane and natural gas have different pressures. Without changing ofrices it is not a safe thing to do it could caus an explosion and you could get hurt.

Either gas can be converted to work in either heater. have it done by a pro. Don't expect the same heat, one is hotter than the other.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! , UNLESS YOU CHANGE OUT THE INLET ORIFICE PROPANE'S VERY SMALL 100% GAS NO AIR. NAT GAS LARGER, HAS AIR MIXED WITH IT !
