I did not vote for Pres Bush. I try not complain about him or any president. It is not always the Presidents fault. He has several hundred people pulling at him everyday all day.

I have never agreed with any President on every issue. Nor do I agree with 1/3 the mess in the democratic Party. But, I get out to the functions and help the people running for office even on the local level. I do my part for my canidate I freely chose from the democrats running.

I believe the USA will never be happy with anyone in office from the President to the lonely county sheriff. Everyone blames everything on the govt. Instead of righting it. we just flow along living in our little bubbles of joy. Not seeing the big picture.

I, personnally, using your logic, could bash Pres. Bush as i did not vote for him. I chose to say the democrats are to blame for failing to rally to the democratic party and doing our civic duty. Instead 90% of the people claim party ties but vote for the best person in their opinion into the job instead of voting for the party. So, why not become independent.

Who says you cannot complain later on? They do not make their promises, duties, and obligations into stone. They can change for whatever weird reason goes on through their mind. If you want to complain - complain! There is no rule saying who you voted for you cannot complain or disagree with them in anyway. Punishable by law.

To Agent Smith: The fact you bring up the reason why Clinton is being considered a horrible President by people because he had an affair goes to show you are very uneducated in politics and world events. Do you know we were attacked 5 times under his administration? Do you know he had a chance to get Bin Laden, but did not do so because that ogre of a creature Janet Reno told him otherwise that it was not smart to do so now? How he cut back on military funding, shut down military bases, cut back on national defense, was being paid to look the other way by Saddam, and sold rocket technology to China for more money? No of course not, you are obviously a liberal for you are under a false vision of the world where there are no threats and all is grand except the fact a Republican is in office. Go find a education and stay with it until the end and you might find a place you are welcomed besides the coffee shops with other hack job pseudo-intelligent liberals!

The first amendment guarantees all Americans the right to complain even if they can't vote, like felons, children, and non-voting immigrants.

But on the sour note, I doubt any one person's complaints will reach the ears of the President, especially this one, although he had a lot of trouble ignoring Cindy Sheehan.

Absolutely. Just because you vote for a person does not mean that they may not disappoint you later. It also does not mean that you are going to agree with every policy they support. The right to dissent is important in a Democratic society. I have had complaints about every person I have voted for as President at one point or another during their terms in office. This list includes Reagan, both Bushs and Clinton.

Agent Smith: It's called opinion, and just for the record Clinton was a liar and a philanderer, not exactly the qualities of a fine upstanding man.

Voting is the only ticket you have to complaining. If the candidate you selected is not living up to their campaign promises, or has misguided the public in any way, YES go ahead and complain. If you voted for the other Guy, Go ahead and complain. If you rejected your democratic duty and did not vote then and only then you have no right to complain.

Yes if u were given the right to protest!
But, today who the hell listens to ppl.Common citizens r just seduced during political campaigns and then who r u?
Nothing.
The most annoying part is that 90% of votes in total majority r planned and created.
The example could be the elections held for the post of UNO presidency!
United Nations Organisation's sub establishments like UNICEF,etc. r just a peace of total show off in the name of public service.
If, people's complain were heard than today US could not at any situation can boycott others from making nuclear weapons since the US itself is selling in foreign markets in huge prices and the funny part is US is selling to those who r in his hitlist.
SO,I DON'T THINK IN TODAY'S WORLD PEOPLE CAN COMPLAIN THOUGH THEY HAV THE HELL RIGHT TO DO!!!!

Why wouldn't they? Unless they voted for them just because and had no knowledge even of the man's face, then they don't, because they didn't think of whtat their decision would do in the long run. Most that vote, however, do so because they THINK the politician will work in their best interest, they can't tell what they're gonna do, they can only hope.

Of course,we do!!! They can't take our votes for granted. We gave our votes to that particular candidate in the hope that they would do things upto our expectations. If they don't, then it's not our fault. Moreover, if it hadn't been for our votes that person would never have been the president. So, in breif, we have the right to criticise if they do wrong, and if they do right, we have duty of appreciating it, no matter what political party he/she belongs to.

People will voice their opinion if they voted or not, but it gives you more personal reason/space to complain if you did vote, cause you actually have a point of view to come from
