I think any intelligent squirrel would recognise us as large dangerous monkeys. Glasgow squirrels are said to be the most agressive in the world owing to tobacco withdrawal, after a cleanup operation removed all the cigerette butts from the cities parks. The crazed squirrels began to bite parkeepers and the general public, particulary when they had 'fags' in theirs hands. I just thought you might like the picture in your head.

when squrils see us and are not hungary then they see us as a threat however since they are hungary then they probably see everything as nuts and so in a way they do but sumtimes are clever enough not to so they are intresting but people will never actully know wat the minds of animals and so on
