Conservatives are also more apt to read the Lefts blather as (contrary to the popular view of the shrill screams from the Left)
conservatives are much more open minded.

For instance (gag) I read Maureen Dowd, Kingsley, NY Times op-ed, watch cnn frequently, Bill Moyers, Noam Chomsky, Molly Ivans etc. just to keep up with the liberal lemmings march to self-destruction.

Yes the left needs to learn that one doesn't learn while speaking. Learning is done while listening

I am a Conservative but I don't wholly agree with this. I think it comes down to a street smart or common since thing. The libs are pacifist and they are naive enough to think that basically everyone (except Bush) is good on a deep level and that evil doesn't really exist (except Bush). The liberals are willing to give to charity that is why they raise taxes and give more money to services like welfare, section 8 housing, and things like that. Kerry's lovely wife was even donating to terrorist groups from the Hines Co. as a tax write off (I will give her the benefit of the doubt she most likely didn't know where the money was going as it was funneled from one group to another). Many liberal have educations from great schools such as Berkeley so I can't say they are dumb but close minded is a possibility. I as a Conservative will not sell out my values which means that yes they lean toward Christian beliefs but so do our laws. Liberals seam to think that morals should not be enforced but to a great extent they have always been. Murder, stealing, assault, rape are all against the law and the law is based on what is thought by the majority to be morally right.

Man, my city's fish-wrap will only run a Coulter piece if it's partnered with a column written by Molly. I often wonder if other papers are so equitable. HMMM..... what are the odds that Vega and Bronstein employ a similar policy with their San Francisco Chronicle?

As for average intelligence: I think it probably has more to do with gender than political affiliation.

(the smartest people I know are women)

And your point is? None of my information comes from CNN. None. I have, nor do I plan to listen to any pundit, they mean nothing to me. Not Savage, not Dowd, not Franken, and not the likes of Coulter, because they are all the same to me, just different agendas.

Congratulations, you win the "Most Obvious Statement of the Day" award.

If the left was more educated, informed, and compasionate, then they wouldn't be on the left.

You are on drugs like your avatar. If you do, you are the exception to the rule. Liberals are better educated than conservatives, but not as rich. As for charity, I can't say.

How can you call a group that wants to revert to biblical morality more open-minded?

Yes your President and his cohorts certainly have established how well read, well spoken and charitable they are.

What shining examples for the world to follow.

If it's so true, why do you need to proclaim it? Wouldn't it be obvious and self-evident to the voters on Nov 7?
