Menopause is when your menstrual periods cease and the diagnosis is made 12 months after your last period. It's a natural stage in a woman's life. There is available information on the net and at the library.

Menopause is when a girl's ovaries run out of eggs. Since there are no eggs, there is no reason to have a period. Many women are glad because no more period means no more buying pads and tampons. (Just in case you didn't know, pads and tampons are expensive)
