At Wal-Mart, there is a Nintendo Wii giftcard. You can buy it now then the person can turn it in for a Wii when they are in stock, which should be a little after Christmas. That will save you from having to spend several times more than what the console actually costs and you can still give the person something. Anyway, waiting on an e-bay auction a few more days will put you in the worst time to be sending/receiving a package. There is such an increase in packages being sent right now, there is always a back-up this time of year so you may not even get the Wii for Christmas anyway. Good lukc and Happy Holidays!
