Life changes at 40 ... your next question is probably, WHY? I believe our perspectives change as well as our motivators. I would urge this "man" to find someone to talk to to talk about men issues ..... this is a real thing ... if your married, your uncharacteristic choices and desires could lead to HUGE and life altering effects .... and not good ....

It is a fact and man starts looking here and there after 40. Because by this time they get bored from their existing relationships. Physical attributes which are important from man's point of view become stale and loose the charm. Man looks for some thing new now. If a woman can understand this psyche of the man and can offer the variety can keep the man under control.

Well... are you a woman over 40 or the guy who notices them? I have always thought that mature women were more attractive because in most cases they are more comfortable in there own skin. That translates into looking sexier, and exuding confidence, which they should have had 20 years earlier. There is nothing sexier than being looked at by a confident woman who knows what she wants! Now if you are the guy... you haven't stopped noticing women, even for a day... I hope...

I didn't know we ever stopped. When was I supposed to stop? Oh crap now I have got to as that question! I'm 35 now so if I am going to stop so I can start again at 40 I'd better hurry. I am always a day late and a dollar short.

Mid-life crisis. They are starting to see themselves getting older and it depresses them. Ogling women makes them feel younger and "on the prowl" again, even if they are not. This is also why some men this age want a motorcycle or sports car. Anything to help them ignore their age.

Perhaps by the time the man reaches that age, his wife has started taking him for granted. Women twenty years younger than him are pretty, too.

They are going through their second childhood and can't help themselves. They think they are getting old and want to hold on to there youth as long as they can. They chase after younger women and act a foolish, poor things, you just have to Waite until they come to their sense's

Because they want to know they still got it like they did when they were in their 20's. They want to feel like they did when they were in their 20's.
It's a sign that they fear getting old. I hated that when I was 20, older men always hitting on me because they were having a mid life crisis. It's so unattractive, Yuck!!!
