Its one of two things.

Its could be a UTI, although they generally hurt WHILE your'e peeing, and not only after.

But its more likely that your bladder is irritated from the weight of your growing uterus. As a result, the way the muscle contracts has to adapt, resulting in a pain whenever your bladder is finally empty.

It can also trigger your uterus to ball up, or to contract, very low down. Thats also normal.

It usually gets better in time, as your body gets used to being pregnant. I used to get it all the time in the first trimester, but now, in my third, i only do if i wait too long to pee.

Be sure to have your doctor check you for a UTI before you decide its nothing. :)

Burning sensation while urinating suggests UTI-Urinart tract infection.
This symptom may or not be related to lower belly pain.
Lower belly pain may be caused by pressure of pregnant uterus from above on the urinary bladder.
Please consult a doctor.

Have you gone to the doctor. Usually if it hurts when you pee you have an infection. I'd get to the doctor ASAP if I were you. You dont want to stress out but you need to make sure everything is ok.

Could just be ligament pain...but it sounds to me like it could also be a bladder infection. Call your doctor. Bladder infections are very common during pregnancy, but they can cause a lot of harm if they go untreated.
Call your Doctor ASAP.

Yeah - I get that too. I'm about 19 weeks and just figured it's because I'm not used to the extra weight pressing down on my bladder. I feel it also if I have to squat/bend over. Just pressure, that's all. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but boy is it uncomfortable! :-)
