It's tradition at my house to put Christmas stuff up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Then we have a whole month to enjoy them. Some of my co-workers told me that they have their trees up, but not decorated yet. Why even put it up then?

Of course. My shopping is complete by Thanksgiving and my decorations are done over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It's been that way for about 15 years now. I worked a seasonal job that demamded it be done by then or I wouldn't have time to get it done. Now, its habit and tradition

Yes we have a huge one in the formal living room,one in the den and 4 other small ones in the bathrooms
