No, but you are a traitor for liking the Skins in the first place (just joking).

Anyway, hop on the bandwagon.

The Skins will not be contenders as long as Daniel Snyder is running the show. He loves to overpay underachievers, which is exactly what the underachievers want, a fat contract where they can mail it in and still get paid.

He took a franchise with a culture of winning and turned it into a culture of losing. Not unlike what Peter Angelos has done with the Orioles.

The Ravens have a mission each year. Play hard, get into playoffs, win Super Bowls. Even in non-playoff years, they are working towards the mission. Now that they understand the value of leadership on offense, I don't think they'll make the same mistakes as they made in the post-Dilfer, pre-McNair era. However many years McNair and Ray Lewis keep playing here, we will be Super Bowl contenders every one of those years.

I'm not a fan of Snyder (obviously), but he came in with the Steinbrenner plan. He bought the most valuable team in the league. Then he tried to buy Super Bowls. Can't blame him for trying, but I can blame him for not realizing it has blown up in his face.

I work in the DC area, and I do enjoy the torment that it provides to Skins fans. They talk Skins all summer long, especially with the off-season circus show that Snyder provides. Then the clowns on 980 talk about winning the division. Then the season starts and it all comes tumbling down...

I'm in the same boat. I consider myself a Maryland guy who's primary NFL team is the Redskins, but I root for the Ravens when the Redskins aren't in the playoffs which is a pretty regular annual thing. So I say the hell with the naysayers and root on.

No--- in pro sports you root for whoever you want. Besides, the Skins are a boring lifeless team. There is no such thing as being a traitor unless you turn on the team you USED to root for. I live in the Northeast and I have been a lifelong Cowboy fan.. go figure.

No. . .you are probably just a typical bandwagon fan. . .. rooting for whoever is doing well. However. . . the redskins have become a pathetic organization . . . their team is full of boring jag off players who suck! As a result . . . who would want to root for those losers. Also. .. the morons who dress up as hogs for the resdskins. . . need to get a life and most likely have never been laid. Actually. . . for that matter. . . .all fans who dress up and paint their faces are morons!!! Get a life you wankers.

Heck no. To keep watching a game, you must be cheering for some team. Root for the Ravens. Just not the Steelers or the Patriots.

You can root for whoever you want to. But I would be careful not to be known as a bandwagoner if I were you. I'm a Cowboy fan and I would never root against them. But I will watch the Raiders and root for them when they play. But if they play each other too bad Raiders you're going down.

No--different conference--it's OK. Just make sure you are wearing burgundy and gold when they play each other. Whatever you do, don't be one of those lame-os who says 'I have to be loyal to the NFC East' and root for Dallas or Philly or NY when they make the playoffs.
