She loves her solid food. But recently, she started to refuse her bottle, so I introduced her to a sippy cup, which she hated, so I tried a small regular cup (I hold the cup while she drinks) She loved it, but for a few days now, she won't drink from the cup either!
The worst part is that she hates fruit juices and water. Formula used to be the only liquid she ingested, and now she refuses to. I'm very worried because she's starting to look constipated.
What should I do?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my question!

NO, MY BABY HASN'T TASTED ANY "GROWN UP" FOOD YET! only baby cereal, and Gerber veggies and fruits!

And, yes, SHE IS teething... (she has like 8 teeth already)

Thanks again!

Have you tried regular milk? or soy milk?

Ive heard of babies going through a phase like this, usually you have to try every nipple, and sippy cup out there to find the one that miracuosly the child will accept.

Tupperware used to make a sippy cup back in the day, theres no valve, just a little spout. You can get a lot of liquid from one of those, and some babies like that. it sounds like that might be her case, since she prefered the cup to the work of sucking through a nipple or valve.

Pedialite, or pediasure might be a nice reserve, maybe she will accept one of those, if she's really starting to look dehydrated.

If you just cant find the right containter-liquid combo in a couple days, i'd take her in to the doctors and see if maybe she's teething, or has some breathing problem... or some unrelated issue.

God, kids are great! lol.

Take her to your doctor as soon as possible, but in the meantime try crushing some ice and feeding it to her or let her suck on ice cubes while you hold them. My kids always loved the feeling of ice on their gums, and it is an alternative way to make sure they drink water. You could also try freezing juice, too, if she likes the ice cubes.

Hope that helps!

Maybe because your baby has tasted some of your own food, and baby formula is gross.

It maybe time to give your baby more baby food and less milk. After they turn 1yr old they come off the formula anyway.

Your doctor will probably tell you the same thing.

Try a cup with a straw but watch her so that she doesnt poke herself in the eye with it. Add a bit of malt to her formula and that should help with her constipation too.
