Click start, control panel, user accounts, highlight your account then click option to change password.

Ron,
Not sure exactly what password you are trying to change or what operating system you have. Without knowing the operating system, the answer would take pages and pages.
Assumptions -
You are speaking about Windows XP
You CAN log into the computer
Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, User Accounts. Once the User Accounts box comes up, click on your name and select Change Password.

u can change your password by going into My Account which is located above in the center next to where is says Welcome, (your screen name).
