it may have a computer going bad on it,,it wont give no trouble codes for it,,but there is a built in rev limiter in the computer,,that actually stops one from revving too high,especially if it not under a load,,like being drove,,you should be able to re-set the timing on it to help with this problem,,good luck,hope this help,s.
