Anyone looking for an Electrical Engineering Salesperson?

I have my BSEE and would like to pursue this possibility. I'm on Monster, Careerbuilder and HotJobs. Anyone know of anywhere hiring???

I too have a BSEE and work as a Sales Engineer for a small R&D company in the telecommunication and laser industries. I have tried monster and careerbuilder, and hotjobs and never found there sites useful.

If you have a certian area of the country you would prefer to live in I would suggest to start researching the local companies or if you have a certian industry you would prefer to work in then research the top companies of that industry.

Do you have any sales background or business background? When I first started I didn't have a very strong sales background (I breifly worked at a local electrical parts store during college). What is required for a engineering sales position is a out going and social personalitity, something you don't typically find in an EE.

Another position to look for is an Application Engineers position you still get the same customer interaction but without the pressure of sales.
