* Cover opened cans of Ready To Feed and Concentrated Liquid formula with aluminum foil or plastic overcaps and store in the refrigerator. Use the formula within 48 hours.

* Cover opened cans of Powder formulas with the plastic overcap that comes with the can. Store opened Powder cans in a cool, dry place—not in the refrigerator. Use Powder formula within one month after opening the can

it should say on all baby formula (liquid, powder) when to get rid of it after u open it.

Powder is good for a long time, there should be an expiry date on the can.

how much after a months a few days, I think that's ok. Over a week or so, yes it's too old.
