when they have a problem weeing? Don't they know that from a simple problem they could end up with a massive problem? Don't they realise that a doctor has heard anything they say a thousand times from other patients and there's nothing to be shy about? Sorry, I know I've asked a lot of questions but I'd like men to realise how important going to the doctor is.

I used to be embarassed to go to the doctor about anything until I had a grumbling appendix. After that visit and having two fingers up my jacksy, it doesnt bother me at all to go and see her. Thinking about it though, it would have been a completely different scenario if the quack had been a man. Maybe thats the problem..?

I went to the doctor once - about four years ago. The quickest appointment I could get was four days down the track. Granted, it was just for a typical head-cold type thing, but all the people around me in my life were shocked at me and telling me I should have said it was an emergency. No it wasn't - an emergency is a huge amount of blood gaping from an open wound.
Now I wait a week before I even think about going to a doctor, 'cos I'm wasting my time. If I'm really sick in later life because I couldn't be arsed to sit in a queue for four days, then the NHS has done it's job well.

They don't do "medical" issues on the whole. Some years ago my husband was moving a large office photocopier (as part of his job) and it fell on his foot. He didn't go hospital till I made him realised there would be no football in the park with our son, if he lost his foot or leg!!!!!!!!

some men are scared of what their doctor will tell them. Its the same in some people as well, either men or women, they're scared of what disease or illness they have. its something like a 'denial' way of expressing themselves, i suppose.

Cos they like to be matcho about it. They think the problem will go away on its own instead of going to see their doctor!

It's because they are embarrassed & they don't like the idea of a dcotor poking around with their private parts.
