One thing that bothered me with my studs was that when I slept, the backs of the earrings would get pushed on tighter so check to make sure that the back of the earring isn't too tight.
It sounds dumb but it was my biggest problem and I didn't even realize it till my mom pointed it out!

When I got my ears pierced, one of them was more sore than the other and for me, it was because I slept on that side. That could be creating pressure, which is likely to make it ache.
It could also be that there is a buildup of puss stuff stuck against the part of your earring that goes through your ear. To relieve this, twist the stud in your ear when you clean it with that antiseptic. That way, if it is puss that is stuck, you'll move it around and be more apt to get the antiseptic in there, so if it is the start of an infection, you'll catch it before it does get puffy and gross...
Hope this helps.

Well if you just got them pierced then your probably in for a bit of soreness, especailly if you had it done with a gun instead of needle since it tends to bruise your lobe. To easy the pain though, I would reccomend an ice pack and also try to avoid touching/laying/playing on or with it. If it still hurts take two advil and tough it out - unless of course it gets infected, then you should take it out and take more precautions.

Take some Advil. Its totally normal, and if theres any swelling it will take care of it. Also, make sure to clean it at least twice a day. Its gonna hurt for a while. Mine stopped hurting after about a week. Hope you feel better!
