I am now 14 days late for my period. I have taken 5 pg tests. First response (the one that says you can test 5 days before your missed) on days 6th, 7th, and 10th late. On the 8th day a nurse did a urine test on me. And yesterday on my 13th day late I took an EPT digital test. All negative. My last period was the 6th of last month and was 7 days long which is unusally long for me. My parter never came in me and almost always used a condom. Yesterday I spotted a little bit, If i hadnt checked up there i dont think I would have noticed..I'm hoping its a sign its just moving and I'm getting it today, but I'm worried. Never been this late. 6 days yes, 14 days, no. Any help would be appreciated. Can stress make you miss it completely? Im getting cramps but nothing yet :( Very stressful month, and then this and i;ve been shaking ive been so scared! ugh! No desire to be pg :(

YES stress can and will make you miss cycles. Take me for example, I have a very regular cycle, then I got divorced, I didn't have a partner the months following my divorce, about the third month into my divorce I skipped my period. I didn't really notice, taking into consideration the stress in my life at that time. Then when I was sitting thinking about it one day, I noticed that I was 15 days late, and started to freak out a little. I took a test, and it was negative... just to rule that possibility out. I decided just to ride it though and see what happened the next month, the following month I received my cycle right on time, and just as regular as it had always been. Try not to stress to much, your body could be experiencing changes as well, and you may just miss it for some unknown reason. Relax, and be patient, don't fret. Take car girl!

Yes stress can cause you to completely miss a period. I think that you should get a blood test done those are more accurate than a urine test ask your doctor and stop stressing 5 negatives is a no but you may have upset the balance of hormones because of too much stress good luck

Go to your dr for a blood test. It sounds as if you may have not even ovulated in your last cycle...which can cause your period to be very late or not come at all. If your not pregnant you will need a med called Provera to get your period started.
And while your there ask for some birth control if your not prepared to get pregnant.
