Well, a few days age i told my ex- boyfriend that i made a mistake breaking up with him, but i wish that i had told him that i didnt want a boyfriend know cause i was not ready.Now he is acting like we are going 2 get back 2gethere again, but i dont want 2 get back with him. Okey i want 2 tell him that i dont want us 2 get back together but i realy dont want 2 hurt him. SO GUYS, I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Stop toying with the poor kid. Tell him you don't want to get back together and then leave him alone. You do more harm to him by leading him on when you know this isn't going anywhere.

okay well hun your going to hurt him anyways because you told him you made a mistake breaking up with him which is kind of leading back in to i like you and i didnt want us the break up but maybes theres hope for us again soon. Ummmm well just sit him down and explain to him why your not reaady for a boyfriend or why itis you dont want to be with him... and tell him that your not trying to say that there can never be a u and him again just not right now â¥

Oh yeah this was the story of my life for 2 years so I will try and help you out. The best way is to distance yourself and be "busy". If he has any smarts he should pick it up. If you want the band aide effect, just say that you really care(d) for him and that you value the friendship you think you can have but right now you can't do the relationship thing with anyone,it isn't him. To lighten the mood you can say yeah i know it sounds like the "it's not you it's me" but you really mean what you are saying

WHY did you tell him you made a mistake breaking up if you DIDN'T want to get back with him? Don't you see how that statement would lead him to the conclusion that you want him back???
Just tell him that you're dumb and that you're not into him anymore. It will hurt him no matter how you do this, so blame yourself -- this is your fault. Oh and LEAVE HIM ALONE and stop playing these games!

Honey the best policy is honesty. Just tell him your not ready for a relationship that you want to focus on your education and getting your life in the right direction. You dont tell a guy it was a mistake to break up, if u dont want to get back together! if my ex told me he made a mistake when he broke up wiht me, I would think we were going back out bc that is basically another way of saying "can we go back out" Sorry, it was ur own dumbness that got u into this, and your dumbness can get u back out!

Sounds like you like him chasing you around! You need to stop toying with him and tell him how you truly feel! He might not like you too much after that but "O well you and him both need to move on if thats what you want". You seriously need to get over yourself and grow up!

you should tell him sooner because you might lead him on or something and he might get even more hurt in the end. just tell him, you guys should be friends for now, since you don't want a boyfriend for now.
