I take a longer time to clear my urine. Once I learnt from my teacher that there is always a bit of urine drops after you urine so it is hygienic & good to clear them. But this seem to be a lot for me & I always ended up in the loo longer. Is there any health problem or I'm just overly concerned & it has become a compulsive habit ?

It's no big deal. Nothing to worry about. It takes me forever to pee. Seems like I'm always standing at the urinal much longer than the rest of the guys. Hell, sometimes, after I'm done, I go again.

You might have an enlarged prostate. If that is the case, it can block to flow of urine to the urethra (the tube that goes from the bladder to the penis). It is true that some urine remains in the urethra after urination.

Another explaination is that your urethra might be narrow. This could cause you to take more time to urinate.

Me too, Bud. First, you should have a prostate exam, then your family doctor should refer you to a urologist. I see the urologist myself tomorrow. Apparently, he's going to insert a caphiter you-know-where. Ya, I'm not crazy about that, but if it will help make this problem go away, then it's worth it. Good luck.
