Most historians and archeologists believe the oldest civilisation is in Mesopotamia(now Iraq) where the wheel was first used and trade was made.In addition,the technic of making cheese and joghurt was first used there as well.What is more,the first European civilisation was on Crete.

I always thought the oldest recorded civilization was Mesopotamia. That's more in the area of northern Africa.
