Tracking an old children's storybook for a friend...?

It was about two young girls that were in shipwreck back in the day of pirates.Their entire boat was lost except for them and two little children (1 baby and one toddler).It was about the things they did to survive & raise these little ones.

Baby Island by Carol Ryrie Brink. I read that book several times when I was in 4th grade.
