Is it true that mirrors that are more rectangular, oblong or w/e u wanna call it make ur face look longer and thinner? Are square mirrors more accurate? My face seems shorter and more chubby in squarish mirrors and it seems longer and thinner in oblong mirrors. Which one is the real me? Help

i think thats true, because in some mirrors even in stores you can look in the mirrors at yourself with a pair of pants you have tried on and the pants will look good on you. but when you get home, you can look in the mirror, wear them once and then never wear them again. also in fun houses and other places like that, they have mirrors that really make you look all funkatated.
hope this helps.

If a mirror is concave or convex, it can make your face appear longer or shorter. For examples of these mirrors are in fun houses. However, whether a mirror is oblong or square does not distort your face. Often, the squareness or longness of a mirror just draws attention to the longness or shortness of one's face (in the same way that horizontal and vertical stripes draw attention to either the heaviness or thinness of our bodies).

I think so. If you have a wide mirror, it will reflect your face wider. If you have a vertical mirror it will make you appear thinner. The best bet is to have a full body mirror to get the full effect of your body proportion.

it doesn't affect ur look, but it affect ur self-esteem. so the best advice is to smack the mirror that can make u look bad, go buy new one, if new one still make u look bad, smack that too, buy another one, if that one still, smack that too...if after like 100 trials, you still look bad on the mirror, you should see a doctor, best doctor in the globe... good luck!

Yes, most clothing stores will tilt their mirrors slightly backwards to make you look taller and slimmer. It doesn't take much togive you a sleeker look.
