okay, every year i get one gift and it is usually really big and cool and so on. This however my parents are going to get since it is sold out. So guess what! im not getting any gifts this year! i know the point of christmas is not getting gifts and you should give more than u recieve. however i worked at this charity for 5 hours and i got all of my friends gifts. this christmas is going to suck! what should i do?

You think 5 hours of volunteer work makes Christmas not about getting gifts?? What are you worried about? There are lots of people who will not get any gifts this year. Maybe you should spend some more of your time helping those people since apparently you usually get what you want.. Help someone else get what they want like food or gifts for there kids...

It's not the end of the world. Sure, everybody loves presents, but think about it, do you really need it? Or do you just want it? It's a twisted world. There are people who would give anything just to afford one meal, while us spoiled north americans get mad when we don't get enough for Christmas. I know it'll suck, but congrats for helping the poor. Good luck

Just try to be happy and think about baby Jesus in a manger sleeping because no one gave his parents a place to sleep because they were "sold out" Who knows what could happen this Christmas. Maybe your parents told you that to make it a surprise. Just be strong and don't forget what Jesus went through. God bless!
