Why is the Yahoo Music Juke Box of Poorer Quality?

I understand codecs and compression issues. Is library heavily compressed or something? Rhaposdy sounds much better, but also has a few "klinkers." Yahoo Music seems processed like FM over the air stations around here. Ugh!

Are you a Launchcast Plus user, or a regular (free) Launchcast user? Free Launchcast is encoded and played at a lower bit-rate than Plus.

I don't know about their use or non-use of compression, and I can't compare to Rhapsody as I have not used that service.
