when i fancy a change i go to the make up desks and ask them to help me out, they will do a little make over on you using their products, then you can see how well they wear or if they are worth the money. i did it recently at 'benefit' and then i put the products on my xmas list so that i had a nice new start for the new year. x

I also use the YSL Mascara for evenings. For day I use Lancome deficiles - it is really good and doesn't go as clumpy as the YSL one near the end - I think its about £15.
The lancome counter should be able to give you a free trial.

I use Loreal Volume Shocking Mascara...it is one of the ones where you apply a white primer to your lashes, then comb in the color. I frequently get asked if I have fake eyelashes so I think it works amazing, it isnt clumpy and it looks sooooo good.
I agree with someone above, the HOOLA bronzer by Benefit is awesome, it is Matte though there is not shimmer and it is very intense. They recently came out with a new product I believe it is called Dallas, it combines the bronzer with a bit of blush and a tiny bit of shimmer. It looks great.
MAC shadows and Urban Decay shadows are the best, they have sooooo many colors.
Goodluck!

As you seem to favor the higher priced brands like Yves Saint Laurent why not try Estee Lauder or Clinque? Estee Lauder has amazing foundations that are so light and Clinque has really good mascaras. For Eyeshadow, I wouldn't rec. you splurge. Just buy Maybelline.

I bought at lunchtime today, Maxfactors Masterpiece mascara - the one with the yellow wand? Supposed to be really good. Also bought my usual foundation - Max Factor Colour Adapt in natural. It's fab and feels like silk when you put it on. Bought a lipgloss too - Revlon Lipglide Sheer in Sheerly Bare - lovely! Happy make-up shopping!

Arbonne is the best. It's all botanically based, pure and safe. Have you ever thought about the chemicals your skin is soaking in? I have..that's why I switched to Arbonne.
I wear their mineral powder foundation LOVE IT, eyeshadows, blush, and mascara (which holds up all day)
All their products have good stuff in them to benefit your skin.
There's a bronzer in the SUn care products..haven't tried it yet, but will by summer.

chanel make up is my personal favourite, especially their new mascara with the really thin wand. can't remember what it's called but it's excellent. BeneFit is also very good overall, especially their Dandelion skin powder. It's like a blusher to perk up your skin and its lovely

None-mascara attracts tons and tons of bacteria and causes eye infections! Its best to use an eyelash curler to have a pretty, natural appearance.

I love Dior show. Chanel just came out with a new one that I just fell in love with to.. I think its called illusion? but i might be lying. Its so hard to find good mascara without spending hundreds on different ones. Make sure you go to the counters and ask for samples or something and try it yourself at home. I know Chanel is giving out samples of the new one if you buy something there, thats how i discovered that one :)
