My boss sent all his employees a personalized photo Christmas card. The card shows my boss, his wife, and their adorable 8 month old baby girl.
I want to say thanks for the ______ Christmas card. Should I say nice, great, what word should I use with the Christmas card to describe how happy my husband and I were to receive that yesterday?

How about something like:
I was delighted to receive your Christmas Card and both I and my husband and I were pleased that you took the time and effort to send it. In return, we would like to wish you all the best for this Christmas and for the coming New Year.

I think this card tells that the family comes first more than anything else. I think its inspirational enough to make one understand the true value of the family and has a message for everyone to cherish Christmas celebrations with their families and loved ones.

You could use adorable as you already have thought of that in regards to your description of the baby. Or you could say something like "Thanks for the charming Christmas card. Your baby is so adorable. I hope your first Christmas with her will be truly special...

First, you don't need to send a thank you card for a Christmas card. Send your own Christmas card. If you must thank him, don't use an adjective. Just say thank you.
