WORST: My birthday is on Christmas. When I turned 16, my uncle gave me one of those tacky Christmas/Birthday cards with $5 inside. Would've been great if it was the '30s. I guess it's the thought that counts...

BEST: When I was little, I got a Super Nintendo. I had never been so happy with a gift like that.

The best Christmas gift I ever received was seeing my sister's new husband get his visa to come to the United States from Costa Rica. They had gotten married 1 1/2 years earlier because they thought all the paperwork was in place and he would be coming home with her and it fell through. It was wonderful to see her so happy. I'm pretty sure that was her best Christmas as well.

Worst...Last year, my best friend gave me this Spongebob Squarepants toy as a joke-it had Spongebob and Sandy and was like one of those boxing toys...anyway, I'm kind of old for that kind of thing by about a decade, so I was like "what the heck do I do with this?" Also, I'd gotten her a nice gift, so that was kind of annoying.

Best...probably the laptop I'm typing on now! I love my computer, and it was such an unexpected gift that is just so useful for school and stuff.

My Mother In Law is the reason people stereotype Scottish people as being cheap. She bought me what looked like a lovely box of Chocolates with cherries. I opened them to pass them around. The "chocolate" was now white and the cherries were hard bits of whatever with absolutely no liquid. It turns out she bought them at a liquidation store and they must have been 5 years old!

The best present anyone ever sent me was a beautifully gift-wrapped box with nothing inside it... except a nice card from
a girl friend that read - "To the Guy who has Everything...!"

I know it's the thought that count, but my friends and I always exchange gifts $25-$30. When I was 17, my friend bought me and another friend each a glass rose that sat on a mirror. Mine was green...what was a suppose to do with a green rose??? It was something my elderly neighbour LOVED. I was going to regift it, but one of the petals broke...oh well!

My wife got a "how to loose weight" magazine from my mother.

My brother got several packages of bulk sized breath mints one year. It would literally take years to go through that many tic-tacs. My mom felt sorry for this girlfriend and said a much.

My favorite was a lego set. I get one each year.

I recied the same night gown again from my grandmother....when i told her i already got one from her she didnt beilive me till i dragged it out and showed her them side by side. EXACT matchs. Turns out she basically bought alot of stuff all at once and just handed out gifts from her pile of stuff..which brings me to beilive she really didnt care. Um, this qualifies as worst, best and CUTEST!
When he was around 5 years old, my little brother wrapped up his toy tractor and gave it to me! It was absolutely darling and the only hard part was giving it back!
