I think that that statement is what exactly predicts this generation and certainly the generation next. Now that we have all the comforts to makeing our lives better, we expect everthing to be easy and handed down to us with ease

I do agree, as the generations go on, we seem to live in a soicety which revolves around getting things and liberty and other such privaleges go unthought about. We should go back to patrick henrys generation

You are so right! I can't tell you how many people I know that live by that mantra. They need to stop holding out their hands and do something to help make this country a better place.

I agree. People have gotten so concerned with having more things than others. And most people aren't willing to work for it.

I somewhat agree.The kids of today are not aware of the steps it took for them to have freedom.I think teens from the 80's led a more extravagant and excessive lifestyle.
