NORMAL - when you're pregnant, almost anything is normal! Your appetite may change as you progress or not, every woman is different, every pregnancy is different. Eating small meals is good (expecting or not) and be sure that you are eating healthy food when you do eat. If you're really concerned, share that with your doctor. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Just be sure to take extra-good care of Mommy (that would be YOU!) and I'm sure baby will be just fine. Congrats & have a great time being a Mommy, it's the biggest adventure of your life - Enjoy it!

I am like that too. I am almost 6 weeks and I was starving all the time and now I dont really want to eat that much. I dont have morgning sickness either wich shocked me cause with my last to, I was sick from day one, till they were born, both girls, and so maybe this is my boy. I think its normal, but just doesnt happen to may people, I believe that we are just the lucky few. Eating lightly is good and healthy. I wish you the best of luck.

Same here!! I am about 6 wks and i feel a little hungry, but I don't want to eat. I have been having a lot of morning sickness, though. I think it is normal and will probably go away and then i will eat like a pregnant horse!

Something similar happened to me. The best advise I can give is to contiue eating small, frequent meals. Make sure that you are picking healthy foods since the amount your eating is decreased and quality counts more. No matter how not hungry you are continue to try to eat every day and keep well hydrated.

normal! i had one pregnancy like that... food just didnt appeal to me.. can be a good thing you probably wont gain much weight.. just make sure you are eating something of course.. I only gained 11 lbs at 29 1/2 weeks (she was preemie, but surely that had nothing to do with the lack of appetite).

Very Normal! Don't worry about a thing. With my first pregnancy, I was like that. I had to FORCE myself to eat. My son was perfectly fine, weighing almost 9 lbs at birth. You will get an appetite soon. Til then, just make sure you are taking your vitamins!

its normal, I really wouldn't worry about it everyone is different, as long as you are eating something. just keep doing what your doing, but i would call the doctor to find out what is the best thing to eat for your child. good luck.

yes, it is normal. that whole eating for two thing is not true. i think it is around 800 extra calories that is needed during pregnancy.
I could not enjoy eating, because i always felt "full". it's good that you are trying to keep your energy and health up.
