East coast. It's where it started, and that's where it's going to end, in New York. West coast is played out. Southern rap is BS because they are rapping about things that New York rapper were rapping about 10 years ago. All they are talking about is money and girls.

although i prefer the south coast-TI, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, etc. they mainly rap about the ghetto life. East coast rappers are more diverse like 50 cent, talib kweli and jay z.

Southern all tha way, baby! I prefer SouthEastern rap myself, cuz that's where TobyMac came from. Also, my boys from Georgia, GRITS, are SouthEastern, so yeah. It's all strictly a matter of opinion.
