First you have to start a business and make it a going concern which means establishing. For that you should have some product or service to offer. Once you have it you should know the market size and the potential customers and how you can make them attracted toward your business. Once you do that then you start your fiancial planning. How much is needed to start the business, employees, capital equipment, overheads including property rents etc;. Then see how you are going to finance it either from your savings or from loans. See how you are going to repay loan on a timely basis. Then you should know how to promote your business to bring in more customers, the niche or cluster you are projecting your mission at, how to satisfy them and how to maintain them. Keep a target for some time in the future how things should be say one year from now, how it should be then on at discrete intervals and check out whether you reach your objectives. Always try to have a hold on your cash flow and how well you utilize it to make it a going concern that is at any time whatever it wil be. Que sera sera.............
