in the second and thirdr trimester. All the blood is going toward her pelvis to take care of the baby, she will get more horny more often, and get more pleasure from it as well

It is common, however it is not rule of thumb. Usually it happens in the second trimester. By then, most of the morning sickness is gone, the hormones are raging and the blood flow to your vagina is increased due to the pregnancy and this causes a lot of sensitivity and responsive nerves. The sex drive may decrease toward the mid to end of the third trimester though because a lot of things are just really different and can be uncomfortable...however..not for everyone. Some couples get busy all the way until the very end! :)
Now remember though...this is not the case for EVERY pregnant women. There are many who want absolutely nothing to do with sex at all for a few months or sometimes even the whole duration of the pregnancy...I feel very sorry for those women...and their husbands. :(

Not all women or pregnancies are the same. Some women are hornier and some lose their sex drive. Hormones and increased blood flow cause the horniness and usually they want to have sex more in the second trimester because they are not feeling so sick and they are not starting to feel uncomfortable yet like they will in the last trimester. I have always been horny and I wouldn't say it really increased for me too much (which for me is probably a good thing) but the sucky thing is that this pregnancy has been very hard and I have felt sick or sore most of the time. So even though I still feel horny, sex has been difficult and at times uncomfortable. My husband and I like to masterbate together which has been a God send but even that lately is getting difficult because sometimes I feel like I cant breathe because I am getting bigger now and the baby is taking up so much space. I'm already looking forward to getting this over with so HOPEFULLY our sex life will go back to normal (though I am probably dreaming in that respect)! Hope your partner has an easier time!

A lot of women do get heightened sexual feelings during pregnancy. An ideal attributed to this is that women aren't scared of getting pregnant so they don't hold back. But, not all women feel this way and the more pregnant they become sometimes it decreases because they aren't happy with their appearance. Another thing to keep in mind a lot of men find pregnant women very attractive.

I never experienced this until my third pregnancy. I had naughty dreams and was basically begging my husband every night. I noticed it more in my second and third trimester. Didn't stop until I gave birth! They were all boys so I don't think it has anything to do with the sex of the baby.

It can be for some women, but everyone is different, alot of women that I know including myself, does not want to have sex towards the end of pregnancy. As for when the horniness starts--that is all up to your body and your hormones.

I did. But I was told it's because I was pregnant with a boy (all three times was a boy). It happened just after the first trimester and at the end of the third.

Some do, not all do. Some women lose their sex drive. Most women have an increased sex drive in the second trimester.

some yes, and some the absolute opposite. Just depends on the woman, and on the pregnancy.
