As others have pointed out, there is a 4th of July in every country that uses the 12 month calendar. However, England and the other counties that make up the United Kingdom do not celebrate Independance Day. At one time, the United Kingdom ruled half of the world, so we would have no need to become independant.

Why do other answers on here mention that America got independance from England? No they never; they got independance from the United Kingdom.

Yes, everyone who follows the calendar, has a 4th of July just like they have a 5th of July.

If you meant Independence Day on July 4th, the answer is no.
We celebrate our freedom in the USA from England. So why would they celebrate a defeat?

England has a national holiday. There is St George's day (kind of like the Irish St Patrick's).

But if you want to include the whole UK, you might say bonfire night was more similar (5 November). Fireworks everywhere, celebrating the foiled plot to bomb Parliament. and little burning edifices of the would be burner.

11 November, armistice of world war one and veteran's day, is more celebrated here. And May Day is also a kind of independence day, keeping independence if not winning it.

So England does have some days that are like 4th of July.

Lol, there is a 4th of July, but we don't celebrate American Independence day. So no there is not American Independence day in England but yes there is a 4th of July, much like there is everywhere in the world that uses the same calender as us.

A similar date for us English would be the 5th of November, we celebrate the failure of guy folks, who tied to blow up the houses of Parliament many, many years ago...other then that there is no real celebration of Independence here.

The 4th of July is not celebrated in England. After all, it is our Independence Day not theirs. For them it is just another day.
